* Please Note: Each of the above programs are a year-long and meets Next Level Programs of Study requirements. There is an opportunity for a second year, capstone course within each program as well.
COLLEGE CREDIT & CERTIFICATIONS
Students have the opportunity to earn college credits through Ivy Tech and Vincennes University. Students can also earn industry certifications like CompTIA IT Essentials, CompTIA A+, Adobe Certified Associate, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Adobe Animate.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Graphic Imaging
Using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, students will create various publications. Such publications include commercial artwork, billboards, newsletters, business cards, posters, and more for real businesses.
Interactive Media
In this program, students will merge text, graphics, sound, animation, and movies for presentations. Students will also apply human motion and sound to computer-generated characters and other media products found commonly in the entertainment industry.
Networking
Students in networking will learn the fundamental skills needed to for an entry-level information technology position. Students will learn to implement information systems, configure and maintain devices and software. Also, students will learn the TCP/IP model, OS administration, how to design network topology, manage network devices, and configure routers and switches. Students through this program can earn CompTIA certifications.
Radio/TV
Throughout this program, students will storyboard, script write, produce, direct, operate cameras, edit, and produce a variety of video projects. Students will experience studio and control rooms to learn specialized broadcasting and video production skills.
Software Development
By enrolling in this program, students will learn about the basics of information systems, website and database development, and software development. Students will test and manage software projects, utilize industry-standard software engineering tools, and learn how to use Visual Studio.
